About Me
I've spent the past dozen years or so of my life working in journalism. After two dailies, an alt-weekly newspaper and a weekly glossy magazine, I opted to go freelance in 2007. I now contribute stories, columns and illustrations to a range of print and online publications.
I grew up in the American South (which means I like sweat tea and warm weather) and graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism (which means I prefer beer to liquor, unless we're at brunch). My partner and I relocated to London at the start of 2009.
My travel guide, the Moon Atlanta handbook, is available now from Avalon Travel.
