As if you can't tell by looking at this week's illustration, I've been a "Project Runway" fan for the last five seasons. By "fan" I mean I love to hate it (and yes, hate to love it). The current batch of contestants may be the biggest group of weirdos we've seen yet. So why can't I stop watching?

Anyway. I couldn't resist doing a little "Runway" shout-out with the new crime report doodle. The first two items in the column this week had to do with Atlanta police officers handing out tickets to taxi drivers who were violating the city’s dress code.
Call me crazy, but is this really the best way for the APD to be spending its time? Aren't folks getting stabbed and shot in other parts of town? Hasn't there been a huge wave of homes getting broken into. Seems like a monumental waste of resources.
