doggy bag
Looking again at my new drawing for Creative Loafing's crime report, I realized that there might be some ambiguity. I intended for the dog to be saying, "Don't look at me, I'm not the one who left the sack of poo on your porch."
Or perhaps he really was the one, and poochy doth protest too much. I guess it's up to you to decide. Either way, I was pleased by the simplicity of this one.
Here's the original item:
"On Garson Drive, a 29-year-old woman said she left her apartment at 9:05 a.m. to go to work. She said when she opened the front door, she found a bag of dog waste sitting there. She said the bag of dog waste wasn't there when she came home the night before. She wanted a police report, just in case the dog waste incidents continue in the future."

I like this drawing, too. I saw some of your others in Creative Loafing years ago and beamed with (inexplicable) pride. Inexplicable because I had no hand in your being a wonderful artist... maybe it was a weird form of "celebrity worship".
