five reasons why i haven't posted

1. The BF and I were busy getting married.
The big event happened here in the state of Georgia, so the "m "word is technically a misnomer, but so what? Sure feels like a marriage to me.

2. I've been busy writing a book.
Two books, actually. I'm still chipping away at my memoir, which is turning out to be a Sisyphean task, but I'm also working on a travel guide to Atlanta. Unlike the memoir, I have a contract for the travel book — with actual money involved. Who knew?

3. I've been busy traveling.
Puerto Vallarta, Pensacola and next up, a trip to Italy. Mama mia!

4. I've been busy drawing.
Check out my Flickr gallery for some fun new doodles. One of my recent faves appears above, an illustration that appears in AirTran's Go magazine this month.

5. I've been busy campaigning for Barack Obama.
OK, so that's a lie. But I did just purchase a Barack Support Pack from the Obama Store, so let the campaigning begin. Yes We Can!
