once there were parking lots, now it's a peaceful oasis

My most recent drawing is sponsored by the muted palette and autumnal hues of the mid-1970s. I wanted to do a moody, early morning, let's-just-have-a-cup-of-Sanka-and-talk-about-it kind of picture. I think it works as an illustration, though I'm not sure it quite fits the outlook of the crazy bitch from the actual story.
