Love love love the "I Heart Homogeny" piece.
um, but if we date someone completely different then are we just looking for exotics? I think you have part of a puzzle but of course it's anecdotal and there are just as many examples/stereotypes to the contrary (rice queens, black/white couples, etc.). Perhaps you are in fact talking about a certain, middle class, white, vanilla slice of gay life that are most likely the target demo of genre? Just wondering...
but I love the title...
